Love poem #1
To Riley from Carus
I wish we were born in a different time,
Your shoulder was the place I could embrace,
It was my safest place,
You make me laugh and cry,
You make me angry and joyful,
When I cry over our broken hearts my eyes are never dry,
When I wake up to this reality hope without you is never full
I wish we were born in a different time,
Your eyes are the perfect storm,
In them I lay my most intimate life form,
I would curse the day we met,
But the blessing of your spirit would never touch my heart,
The oracle of beauty has caught me in her net,
I wish I could escape but there isn’t a chart
I wish we were born in a different time,
I would play the guitar,
Our difference in beliefs wouldn’t be an open scar,
The medley so sweet in your ears,
Our obligations wouldn’t be the depths of our fears,
My soul could speaks the language of soft intimacy
Your heart wouldn’t worry about imperial literacy
Love poem #2
To Carus from Riley
I would rides horses with you,
Not int eh fields but in our hearts,
I would ride the wild horses of our passion enclaves,
I would rid the horses of our lust,
In the deepest country of our hearts,
I want to ride horses with you,
Not four legged animals but our emotions,
I would ride them into the canyon of our passion,
Deep into the river of our intimate embrace,
I would ride them past these societal barriers,
Into he warmest clutch of loving touch.
I want to ride the wild horses with you,
I would trade these tears for one ride with you,
My love, my intimate partner,
I would trade in these tears for the chance to ride with you
Love Poem #3
To Riley from Carus
You are the reason why dream,
You are the reason why I smile,
You are the reason my smiles beam,
You are the reason why my joy is long as the Nile.
You shine bright like the moon,
Shining in the darkness of night,
Your beauty make my heart swoon,
Without you close by nothing is right.
